And now give presents to the rain that it be not withheld from descending upon you, nor yet the dew, when it has received gold and silver from you that it may descend.

By receiving every rain-like gift — sustenance, health, breath — as from His hand, with thanks instead of presumption.

By loosening my grip on wealth that cannot buy the sky, and sharing it with those on whom the hard days have already fallen.

Identify what you are actually trusting for provision and security
thank God explicitly for what money cannot buy or command
and let generosity, not hoarding, express your confidence in the Giver
