Given by: the angel of the presence to Moses on Sinai, retelling how Abraham recounted past judgments to his children as a warning. Given to: Abraham's descendants, to sober them against the sins that had destroyed whole peoples.

The giants (the offspring of the Watchers) and Sodom were the great cautionary tales of the age; Jubilees invokes them, as later Scripture does, as standing examples of what corruption invites.

And he told them of the judgment of the giants, and the judgment of the Sodomites, how they had been judged on account of their wickedness, and had died on account of their fornication, and uncleanness, and mutual corruption through fornication.

Abraham sets before his children a warning drawn from history: the giants and the Sodomites were judged and destroyed because impurity, left unchecked, runs to ruin.
