Written to call a pressured people back to the law, Jubilees presents its own renewal as beginning with the young returning to study — the counter-movement to the forgetting that had ruined their elders.

And in those days the children shall begin to study the laws, And to seek the commandments, And to return to the path of righteousness.

The turning-point of the whole apocalypse: the children begin to study God's laws, seek His commandments, and return to the path of righteousness.
