Jubilees expands the brief Genesis account of the sons of God and the flood into a moral lesson, naming fornication, uncleanness, and bloodshed as the corruption that filled the earth and provoked judgment.

For owing to these three things came the flood upon the earth, namely, owing to the fornication wherein the Watchers against the law of their ordinances went a whoring after the daughters of men, and took themselves wives of all which they chose: and they made the beginning of uncleanness.

Noah names why the flood came — fornication, uncleanness, and injustice — and warns his sons to flee the very sins that once undid the world.
