For a people stripped of homeland and Temple, unceasing thanksgiving was a portable worship — a way to honour God wherever exile placed them.

But continued immoveable in the fear of God, giving thanks to God all the days of his life.

Remain unshaken in the fear of God and continue giving Him thanks throughout the whole of your life.
