The king pressed the last son with threats and promises to abandon his fathers' law; the boy answered that he would obey God's commandment, given by Moses, rather than any command of the king.

For whom do you stay? I will not obey the commandment of the king, but the commandment of the law, which was given us by Moses.

The youngest son refuses the king's command and chooses the commandment of God's law.
